DETEKSI SERANGGA HAMA PADA GUDANG PENYIMPANAN BIJI PINANG (Areca catechu) MENGGUNAKAN BEBERAPA METODEPENGAMBILAN SAMPEL

The research aims to detect insect in betel nut storage (Areca catechu) using some sampling methods. was conducted by survey method three methods, namely hand method, yellow sticky trap and dome method. parameters observed were types of pests found, populations obtained, abundance pest populations. from July October 2018 four storagesin Jambi City Muaro District. Insects found the storages with methods 28 species. In 16 insects, 21 pests, pests. dominant insects Ahasverus advena, Araecerus fasciculatus, Callosobruchus spp., Carpophilus dimidiatus, Cryptolestes ferrugineus, pusillus, Hypothenemus hampei, Lasioderma serricorne, Lophocateres Oryzaephilus mercator, Typhaea stercorea, Tribolium castaneum.
